8. It is pathetic that it's just now...

...we're paying any attention to the first ICC indicted war criminal. It's also pathetic that the United States withdrew it's signature and refuses to ratify the Rome Statute because we are afraid our own people could be charged as war criminals. I don't think the cartoon is defending Kony, what it's doing is pointing out the absurdity that the Invisible Children campaign is going to cause his capture. Interestingly enough, just came back from the supermarket, and there were some high school kids doing their class project on the topic and lecturing with a display board by the door. Who knows, maybe there is some hope for the world yet.
