So Germany has invested about 200 billion euros in wind and solar, its power prices have doubled in a decade, the power companies' stock value has halved, and emissions are still the highest per capita, or per kilowatt/hour, of the original European Union countries? At the moment, emissions from the German electricity industry are 411 grams CO2 per kilowatt hour, for France it's 38 grams - ten times less.
