Yes, a president can oppose Sharia law (i.e. threaten to veto any legislation that would contain any elements of Sharia law) and gay marriage. The noise about Sharia law is ridiculous - there is no Muslim speaking or advocating openly for adoption of Sharia law.

And with respect to banning pornography, that is not something the President or Congress can do without a constitutional amendment. The Court has ruled on pornography and indecency and the current face of pornography is constitutional.
