2. This is a very sharp series...

Unfortunately, I'd predict it would go over the heads of most Americans. I don't say that to be snarky or "elitist," but clearly, most Americans have no idea who is fighting our wars, why we have so many extravagantly paid mercenaries getting rich off of our endless wars and the impact on our own "cannon fodder" troops--whose meager pay and benefits the RETHUG Congress constantly puts at risk.

My guess? No more than 25% of Americans will 'get' it... and that might be overly optimistic. Maybe it will spark some discussion or for some to go to the Doonesbury website and read the backstory, at least...
