Trump knows that only damn fools and idiots would harken to his call to arms -- but he knows fucking well that his tweet about Virginia was just that.

If the boozers and losers who might actually decide to take up their trusty AR-15s were to die in a suicide scenario that the press would dignify as "brave but foolish," Trump's campaign would use the deaths as an example of a frustrated group of proud Americans who just reached the end of their rope (no hanging pun intended).

And if they die like clowns, shooting themselves in the foot, so to speak, he'd just disavow them and call on his fellow Trumpians not to follow their example. But still inveighing against the "repressive" tactics of the State.
