...they were far more concerned with so called "nuclear waste" than they were with fossil fuel waste.

The difference between so called "nuclear waste" and fossil fuel waste is of course that fossil fuel waste kills people and destroying all of the ecosystems on earth and so called "nuclear waste" isn't killing any one and is not destroying ecosystems on Earth.

I believe that Grist - if I recall correctly - was real big on so called "renewable energy," which has done nothing to address climate change, is doing nothing to address climate change, and will do nothing to address climate change, this after the expenditure of trillions of dollars on the vast mining subsidy that so called "renewable energy" represents.

As ye sow, so shall you reap indeed.

There's plenty of blame for climate change to go around of course, but a huge dollop of it needs to go to the incredibly ignorant purveyors of anti-nuke dogma.
