18. Trump wrote himself into the lead role of a psychodrama.

The script was simple.

He was going to be the Best leader of the Free World, he would make wonderful and wise decisions and everyone in this country and around the world would worship him.

Except the bit players - you and me - didn't know about the script he had written for us, and refused, on the whole, to follow it.

Messiah complex, rantings of a decaying brain, call it what you like.

That he got as far as he did, and caused as much damage as he did, will be discussed by academic historians and psychology professors in front of classes for decades.
