7. Florida is fairly reliably republican in elections

It hurts to type that but we have two republican senators and have had a republican governor since I can remember. The state also voted for Trump in the last election. I don’t understand why they would want to change the way people vote? The status quo seemed to be working for them.
Let’s hope for the law of unintended consequences.
