Biden and Schumer will be seen as having been patient with Manchin and Sinema's bipartisan dreams with the smaller bill while also covering the progressive Dem's wants in the larger, reconciliation bill. Manchin and Sinema and the rest of the reluctant centrists will feel immense pressure to go along with the reconciliation plan because Biden and Schumer went along with their bipartisan plan.

That's pretty damn smart IMO.
