The journalist was interviewing a group of farmers who were pretty angry. He'd actually done his homework & pointed out some agriculture bills over the years, that had passed with mostly democratic votes, but these guys weren't having it. "That may be, but I'd never vote for a democrat," one said.

I think the poster below nailed it. They hate minorities more than they like themselves. Man, that is pathetic.
