4. When I was in college (a very liberal school) there was a park nearby, and

and there was a series of incidents where male college students were being attacked in the park by high school toughs who yelled homophobic slurs. A martial arts group on campus — some serious black belt types — decided to start strolling through the park holding hands to see what would happen. This plan circulated around the campus and the dean called the guys in and talked them out of it. While that was probably the right decision for that circumstance, I’m beginning to think it’s time for the left to start adopting the plan now. Coordinate protests with a combination of martial arts types in plain clothes and others armed with cameras to be sure to get video evidence. These thugs will keep doing it as long as they get away with it.
