the late 70s, I have had the very same thought myself about Musk’s cultural-economic background and it’s influence on his perspective on “free speech” and “democracy”. He is not influenced by our nation’s history and experience so much as his own. There are elitists and then there are elitists; he may fall into the category that progressives would typically view as the worst.
