Crystal Mason was jailed and lost her appeal for casting a provisional ballot that was never counted. In Texas:

It’s almost as if these women are being made examples of in order to suppress the Black vote.

Inasmuch as I recall, prosecution and jail does not happen to White people who make good faith voting errors.
