3. Turbo Tax's fees are ridiculous. I used to use them all the time until I wised up.

My taxes are pretty simple, so when I saw how much it was costing me, I started using another online service. It saved me a ton of money. TurboTax fees started out at $129 just for federal, and then they charge another whole fee for state and local. I ended up spending about $21 that included an extra audit defense fee, so TurboTax can stuff it. I filed my taxes electronically on April 17 and got my refund back on April 26. (I filed late because I usually get next to nothing back, but this year I got around $3,000 back. I'm still trying to figure out how that happened, lol.)
