responsible for the current economic situation - as if he was able to do everything he wanted to do.

The Corporate media talking heads keep reinforcing this meme when they say: "Why can't Obama do more with the economy?", or: "Obama just doesn't seem to be able to get the economy humming again.", or: "Can anybody make the economy work?"

They know the GOP has prevented Obama from doing all that he wanted to do. They know the GOP forced Obama to down-size the initial stimulus bill (ARRA). They know that almost causing a default on the U.S. dept shook the business community into being very wary of addding full-time people. Businessmen worry that the GOP might actually cause a Government shut-down, or a default, or use any number of destructive Political Legislative Explosive Devices -- which would send us back into a deeper recession. So businesses are holding off hiring as many full-timers as they would have - had they seen more responsible (pro-America) behavior (or at least not aimed at killing the recovery) by the GOP in Washington.

The M$M are an integral part of the GOP's campaign of disinformation. Advertizing dollars, and corporate ownership are very effective tools to get the right kind of editorialising by implication in ostensibly 'fact based' news reports. By implying a proposition over and over again, the non critical thinkers (or even those who just aren't giving their full attention to what's being said on the news) begin to absorb the proposition as accepted fact. Eventually, the 'pigeons' have opinions that are not really their own but were fed to them by GOP's skanks impersonating tv journalists (I'm not a journalist, I just play one on tv!&quot .
