from the Apostles works in the Bible. Use of the term "Christian" is broadly applied to anyone who thinks they are, by their own definition, but that doesn't make them Christian in the manner which the faith's founder determined it to be. So the "no true scotsman" comparison is apples and oranges.

Evangelicals miss the point on their literalism and lack of historical context in their interpretation.
