What gives these jerks the power to tell another person what they can and cannot do?

Your religion only has power over you - not the rest of the world.

Can you imagine if some crazy religion decided that burning the cross was blasphemy, punishable by death? Then many of those cross-burning KKK stupids should be put to death.

Defiling the image of some supposed holy person (Islam)? Writing critically about the holy leaders of a country (Iran)? Taking some "god"s name in vain (xian)?
