7. Look at the tactics the Republicans have employed to stop Democrats when they were in the majority.

The Democrats in the senate, old guard like Durbin, Schumer, wouldn't break the filibuster to pack the supreme court when it was a necessity for stoopping this. So maybe it's just because the Democrats don't want to force things when they can, which is still weakness and nest-feathering.

Yes, they do have the majority in both houses, but instead of applying the pressure, and using the public pressure that is mounting, they just whine that they're not the party in power. And then go out to a fundraising banquet.

We had the opportunity, when the government shut down, to hold the filibuster and do some real damage. Now, we are probably going to lose the ACA because we didn't.
