2. You aren't going to see your progressive dreams fulfilled while Trump is in the White House

Single payer is a losing issue. As soon as you bring it up the whole health care industry will flood the airwaves with ads about a government takeover of health care, which the public doesn't want. When we tried just Hillarycare we lost our majority and about 60 seats. After Obamacare we lost about 60 seats again. His basic pitch is that Democrats aren't fighting which is a lie and hurts turnout. He's also trying to divide the party by age. He pushes lethally unpopular stuff like defunding the police. Most of his candidates have lost. Those that won did so for other reasons. You can't get money out of politics as long as there is a First Amendment.
I'm glad you expect Progressives to stick with us this election. They've abandoned us before.
