5. If the US can hold to sanctions, I see an Arab Spring in Iran if the elections there do not satisfy

the educated people. The educated people spoke 4 years ago when they said that they were fully opposed to their government agitating the West. Since then, the government of Iran has moved to agitating many countries in the world. Iraq did bring balance between the two Middle Eastern Islamic factions; Sunni and Shiite. Bush/Cheney destroyed the balance in the Middle East.

The Russians left Afghanistan because they could make no difference, no improvements there.

Putting the young Afghan men to work at jobs helping themselves and their nation has helped the Middle East peoples see that they can modernize their own countries. Iran is so much ahead. The educated people of Iran want to reform their country THEMSELVES through law: Not being liberated by an invasion.
