6. The problem with racism is that it is not useful

Let's pretend that "all dark-skinned people are lazy, stupid and incompetent".

OK, a few years ago I was working in an area where by pure coincidence all the network technicians were black. The network ran flawlessly, what few problems we had (blown switches) were fixed instantly and they kept on top of new technology only acquiring what would work best for us. In staff meetings I often had no idea what they were talking about and I know my way around networks.

If that's "lazy, stupid and incompetent" then what does that make me???

Also, there are outliers to any group. Making judgements about the whole gives me nothing to handle the exceptions. If I'm using our meme at hiring time, I'm going to miss out on these guys and who knows what I'll end up with.
