Very Strange - even for Maine.
I have friends that live on North Pond and they can't shut up about this..
That area is rural, but it's not "wilderness" - how this guy made it through 27 Maine winters is pretty remarkable.
Even more remarkable no hunter ran across his camp - or that law enforcement didn't track him there with dogs.
1000+ break-ins?
A Modern Thoreau he ain't.
But he's got "Nature Boy" Joe Knowles beat all to hell....
