2. here in northern illinois a japanese rail car builder just opened a new plant

to scale jobs and purchasing policy of buy american. i haven't seen any finished units outside the plant so it`s either commuter or long haul passenger cars.

wisconsin would have had a commuter car manufacturer from spain setting up shop in milwaukee. walker rejected the rail line money that would have built a line from madison to chicago. the spaniards pulled out of milwaukee and sued walker for basically reason to build the plant.
