other raging anti gay clerics and preachers would want to see Fred Phelps treated kindly in death. Reading the truth about the pain he delivered in the name of their faiths is difficult for them and makes them have uncomfortable questions spring to mind about their own frothing clerical Superstars....
Fred is Dead. Now Bill Donohue of Catholic League is America's leading anti gay religious nut. The river of straight hate never stops flowing.
Fred was useful to the Donohue and Francis types, his extremist nature made their garden variety bigotry seem almost kindly. Without Fred to hide behind, their own hate mongering will stand out as it should for the brutal, horrific bigotry that it is.
