Considering the poisonous crap that China exports, either they found out something very bad about GMOs - environmentally or health-wise, or they are making their own GMOs and are tired of the Monsanto's controlling everything.
Maybe they have a five year plan to try and clean up the current pollution from farming. Well, may take longer than that.

Yay! Looks like eventually the US will be exceptional because we are doubling down on GMOs, getting rid of net neutrality, gifting health care to for-profit companies who make money by denying health care.....just think - number 37 on longevity.

Very interesting bit of news, thank you.
