(2,983 posts)Really? I mean, this is who he brings in to represent the other side? A guy who almost meekly lets himself be verbally smacked down, talked over and shouted down? Towards the end, when he makes his sorry excuse for an apology, Colmes says (sarcastically, I hope) that he rather enjoyed it, or that it was great or something. You'd think that was sarcasm, but it almost seems like Colmes ENJOYS being a whipping boy for various conservatives, from O'Reilly, to Hannity, to Ann Coulter and other disgusting pieces of human shit.
I do not think O'Reilly honestly lost it. I think he gave the pretense of losing it so he could convince his audience that he was genuinely outraged (and telling the truth) with the Obama administration for doing nothing. The reality is that the administration, and the President, simply aren't doing everything that assholes like O'Reilly want them to do. You know, Colmes, why not mention Chained CPI while you're up there and looking like a mouse trying to convince a cat he's not a midnight snack?
Bah. I'd love to see O'Reilly attempt to debate someone like Howard Dean in such a fashion. Damn, I'd pay to see that.
