With ridiculous charges like aiding terrorists etc... that they want to stain the very act of whisleblowing, no matter how much of a good reason you have to do it. In effect they would like to change the definition of "whisleblowing" in the dictionary to "treason" so that they become synonymous in any future soldiers (or civilians) mind.
