I am in rural Ohio.

My mother will be 89 in August.

She is in great health.

She only visits when my brother brings her up.

She helps out with groceries and toilet paper etc. She is not wealthy.

She lives 110 miles round trip.

Same distance for my brother.

He has been unemployed for a long time and can't afford gas to come up as often as he used to.

My sister is a little closer but she is involved with her 3 kids and 6 grand kids.

I have one friend who stops by once a month or so.

I like being alone and rarely leave my house.

I have agoraphobia, panic attacks etc.

I am a bit of a hermit.

I have heard my entire life that 'money can't buy happiness'.

I disagree, money would solve all my problems.

I don't mind being alone, having agoraphobia, or being a hermit.

I hate that my house is falling down and that my Cub Cadet died.

The real kicker is I hate mowing, but I didn't want my Cub Cadet to die.

Oh well, what can a person do ?

Thanks for your concern, I mean that sincerely.
