2. I hate these "I am..." type-messages

1) no you're not. Manning's in a fucking supermax prison, you're making a youtube video.

2) What exactly are you doing to help the situation? And don't give me this "awareness" stuff, "spreading awareness" has become shorthand for "I talk about it and like, stuff"

3) Even if you're doing something, you're still not Manning. Or Trayvon. or whoever else. You're not in their shoes, and while hte sentiment is nice, you probably never will be. There's no risk for you to "be that person," as there is for that person!

Sorry, these "I am..." videos and messages just make me want to whack someone. They're like really bad PSA's, and just about as effective.
