6. I had a friend who experienced a tornado as a child

She was in the basement with her family and they watched the tornado lift the whole house and carry it away. The only thing left was the basement...and yet no one was hurt. That is a memory that will never leave you. Tornadoes scare the crap out of me. I left Colorado because of tornadoes and the humongous hail.
