he approved the fatwa against Salman Rushdie. I have no problem with him turning to Islam, but I cannot abide that one act of his. I won't listen to his music any more, and I trashed all his records that I had because of it.

P.S.: I wholeheartedly agree with your line from Col. Potter, MASH 4077th!! Thanx for posting it!)
