(7,321 posts)56. Looking at your banner, I wonder if you "trust" Dianne Feinstein?
I ask because I used to think: if we only had more women in office, there would be War No More, socio-economic issues for the people, (as opposed to wall street) would be THE major priority.
There are several women in Congress and a few in the Senate who have greatly betrayed progressive causes which benefit women, men, and their families, and have fought long and hard for. I no longer hold the assumption, that just because someone is a woman, is someone we should place faith in.
