(7,321 posts)Women's right to choose, and our own choices with regard to our own bodies are extremely important. That's a struggle I thought we battled and WON decades ago, but apparently the struggle continues just like all other socio-economic equality and political issues.
My point is our struggle for reproductive rights is just ONE thing all Women should care about.
But the reality is not all women care about other socio-economic issues and issues of equality except whether it concerns them personally and their family's personal wealth.
Women of privilege, Old Money, the class who belong to the 1% . Who believe in Wars, and funding for arms engaging in the slaughter of innocent women and children through drone strikes or shock and awe invasions or other myriad of murderous operations.
Just to look "tougher" than the male opposition
We need a paradigm shift and women who are passionate in making that happen.
Not Women who want to maintain the status quo.
That's essentially my point.
