But until we have a different way to elect members of congress, not the current first-past-the-post representative districts, than no third party will ever be viable. It's called Duverger's law. That's not to mention the fact that both parties have institutionalize themselves into law. We live in a plus-1 Soviet style system.
Changing that is the key in solving our current political problems.
