I would also RECOMMEND people buy this book if they can afford it.

University press books, even highly regarded ones, do not stay in print as long as commercial publishers - and, in either case, books along these kinds of subjects go out of print faster than fiction, etc.

Luckily I bought a copy of After the Empire, by Todd, when it was selling well. No longer in print.
