3. There are plenty of rural people who just shoot abandoned dogs and cats.

And a few who might shoot people too if they thought they could get away with it.

Horrifically, shooting them isn't the worst possible thing.

Abandoning dogs and cats in rural areas is a rotten thing to do.

Our dogs are all rescues. All our family is like that. Sometimes it's not an easy thing. That last dog in the video looks like a handful.

We currently have three rescue dogs, two who were a handful, but they are getting better.

I once found a "foreclosure" dog, his people moved away without him, and he was very skinny and in bad shape when I found him, barely able to walk, too tight collar, and covered with fleas and mites. We didn't want to call animal control because they probably would have put him down, but with food, water, and love he recovered quickly. My in-laws have him as their family dog and he is a sweetheart and he just radiates absolute joy whenever he sees me.

Our three dogs are joy radiators too, and they get to sleep on the bed, which is something they never experienced before we took them home.
