I was responding to your comment that a woman was shot for not acknowledging a man. I'm suggesting that that is probably not the usual response, and is about as likely as getting blown up by crazed Muslim fanatic.

We're exhorted to not fear all Muslims based on the actions of a crazy few. But we should fear all men based on the actions of a crazy few?

Not only that, but 80% of assaults are committed by people the woman knows, so it's rather unlikely that a stranger in the street will hurt you.

And if the answer is "Yes, women need to fear all men", then why is their such rancor towards woman (and men) who carry guns to protect themselves?

The message seems very mixed to me.

Fear men, but especially those you know, but also the ones you don't. But don't extrapolate the behavior of a few crazies to the whole group, especially regarding Muslims, but it's OK to do it with men.
