4. I don't mind the word "choice" when talking about sexuality.

First off, I'm not gay.

But I feel that many, many aspects of sexuality are related to choice. Just like a straight person, a gay person chooses what kind of person that they want to be with. Some people go for looks, some go for kindness, some like to be with a funny person, some want a dependable partner, or one that treats his mother well.

I understand that, just like me (born straight), gay people were born gay. Of course they were born that way, just like they were born to have blue eyes, or long legs; if they were born, and are homosexual, it can ONLY be that they were born that way. Selfish, hateful, controlling people (not the mom in this video) like to insist that homosexuality is a choice, because then they can insist that the gay person could be straight any time they want. Or that the gay person is only doing this to hurt them. I think there are people who enjoy being the victim a little too much.

From my point of view, I could not care less whether a gay friend or family member was gay by choice or nature. If they were born that way, fine. If it was a choice...well, that's fine too. If they are gay by choice, that means that I am straight by choice. And there is nothing that makes my choice more acceptable than their choice. In my opinion, everyone deserves every bit of happiness that they can squeak out of their life on this earth. Be with who you love.
