3. This short video covers some of the most powerful points about religion that I see.

The bombers are almost entirely focused on the paradise after they die. Not on some terrestrial grievance.

Even if they were motivated by a terrestrial grievance their solution wouldn't involve suicide without religious influence.

Finally the big one. It was said early in Sam's response. I paraphrase: Even the most casual of believers provide cover for the harmful fundamentalists. This is clear to anybody who is paying attention. I see it all the time in just interacting with people. The assumption that religious people are automatically trustworthy. The weight being openly religious gives to your non-religious claims among the religious.

The most insidious being those who insist that we can't challenge religious ideas. That they are privileged as "sincerely held beliefs" or some other nonsense. Bad ideas are bad ideas and they must be challenged.
