A Little Girl Doesn't Respond To A Stereotype About Her Dog, But Her Look Says It All

1. My last best friend

And the one before him were adopted. I'm tearing up now in memory of them both. I had friends come over just to take my dog for a walk.

This really happened:

Friend A comes over and asks, "Can I take Sammy with me to the bar?" (It has outdoor seating and Sammy is a regular)
"Sure, have fun, take her water bowl with you.", says I. They leave. 10-15 minutes later another friend arrives and I invite him in. He notices right away the absence of Sammy.

"Where's Sam?"
"Out with friend A."
"How long have they been gone?"
"About 10-15 minutes."
"OK, I'll be back later."
