South Florida and Sea Level Rise: A Slow Motion Catastrophe [View all]

Most of us think of sea level rise in terms of the Sci-Fi images of huge waves rolling into the city.
The plucky protagonists survive, others don't, but they're just nameless extras.
It's a relatively tidy process - no sticky legal, moral,
scientific, economic or political issues to resolve. And it's all over in an afternoon.

In the real world, we won't be getting off that easy. Case in point: South Florida.

I think this is worth watching, and sharing, as a reality check.
