What happens when a corporation cares more about Wall Street than their own employees? The answer is that jobs are outsourced to low wage workers around the world. Right now, FairPoint Communication is working to outsource the jobs of thousands of IBEW and CWA workers. The unions went on strike against FairPoint a little over three weeks ago and they are scheduled to resume negotiations next week.
Today the IBEW released this great new ad for people all throughout New England to understand why the unions are on strike. The unions are working to protect local workers helping to continue the economic growth we have seen in the last few years.
