(246 posts)This fucker has been doing this type of shit for at least 20 years .
April 31, 1994 about 11:30pm I am on my way home from my job in Albany NY to my home 15 miles north in Clifton Park NY. I am driving on a back road which was a shortcut to my house when i pass a sheriffs deputy going the opposite direction. A couple minutes later he comes up behind me and pulls me over. He and another deputy approach the car. I ask him why he pulled me over and he told me to shut up and give him my license, registration and insurance card. He looks at them and says I pulled you over for an "open container" I ask what open container, he says that coffee in your console. ( I was drinking coffee when he passed me) He then says "wait here" and goes back to his car. 15 mins passes, 20 minutes passes his partner comes to my window and says the computer is running slow and they are waiting for a response. Another 15 mins passes and I motion to them through the rear window to ask what is going on. His partner comes up to my car and says " just a few more minutes and we will have you on your way". Another 15-20 mins passes Now it is almost 12:30 am and this pig Shawn Glans comes back to my car and hands me my license and papers. Then hands me a ticket. I ask what is the ticket for, he points at the windshield and says your inspection sticker is expired. My sticker expired at midnight, this bastard kept me on the side of the road until it expired! At that point I knew to just shut up, take the ticket and go home. I went to traffic court(town of Halfmoon, home of nutty rightwingers) and told the judge what happened, of course the cop denied it by pointing out that the time on the citation was 12:21 am. The judge said he found the cop to be more credible ( big fucking surprise!) I got a $45 fine for my effort.
FWIW Where he stopped me was only ~300 yards from where the video takes place. There was no Walmart there at the time and the back road I was on(Plant Rd) is just behind where the store is now.
