I know them. Just because they misunderstand it doesn't make them any less dangerous. They cannot be reasoned with.

This hatred can't be reined in. The Genie is out of the bottle.

The hate mongers got their foot in the door on the gun issue. The NRA is directly responsible for ramping up this hatred.

The NRA represents the interests of the gun manufacturers. The moment President Obama was elected millions of these Righties® went out and bought weapons and ammunition. This made the gun manufacturers millions upon millions of dollars.

If there had been no candidate Obama, knowing what they now know, the NRA would have created him.

The best way forward is for the Democratic Party to completely abandon the gun issue.
