5. Unfortunately, that's exactly what it is.

The double standard w.r.t. terrorist killings, with the entire "west" going apeshit over this one awful attack while at the same time being totally indifferent to the incredible scale of the ongoing mass killings and slaughter done by them in their "war on terror" is frightening to the point of being numbing.

The anti-arab racist caricatures are equal to anything in the Vietnam war days, when it was just a bunch of "gooks" getting killed.

But "the west" has total military superiority, can kill with robots from continents away and call the unnamed victims "terrorists", and "the west" can write the story with it's "free press", the MSM.

So many on DU just shrug with indifference.
Putin=evil, Assad=evil, Gaddafi=evil, Hussein=evil, ....
and sure the west has done some bad stuff, nobody is perfect, but it's, y'know, those awful Republicans and, y'know, democracy, freedoms, so...

And this terrorist attack proves how right we are.
