7. A Different Take

While I voted to legalize pot in my state, it was only because so many people were in jail for it and this was not fair. Now I am seeing what I think is a glorification of Marijuana. I worry that young people today will get caught up in it. It destroys ambition and serious work. I worry that young people today are turning away from politics and the dream to build a better world. I see the nation's youth as
going for the "opiates" of cocktails culture, gourmet beer culture, pot culture and techno and film culture, music culture and the glorification, deification of sports. These are all distractions while the whole ship of the world is burning down. The bad guys are taking over and where is the push back against the evils of greed, war and corruption.
