7. Gore got a lot of things wrong

And none of it involved his choice of suits, sighing, or "inventing the itnernet."

1) he ran against clinton policies because clinton was "scandalous." That is he leaned to the right from an already-centrist platform, obviously for political expediency rather than any actual opposition. he came off as fake due to this.

2) Joe Lieberman? What the happy fuck was that about? In hindsight, i'm almost a little glad Gore lost 'cause I have a sneaking suspicion that he would have suffered a "mysterious mishap" in his first term and we'd have had President Lieberman. Scary thought. At any rate, butting a guy who was to the right of George bush into your campaign agaisnt George bush was a stupid move.

3) He didn't contest the results. Then he did. Then he didn't. Then he did. Yes, the fix was in, but damn I'd rather he gone down kicking the entire time rather than what he actually did.
