82. What is the point of a news bureau if controversial news that the owners or board of directors

of the news bureau don't like is censored?

News and censorship, regardless of the reason for the censorship are opposites.

The news was censored in Eastern Europe and Russia under the Communists.

The military junta in Greece in the late 60s and early 70s censored the news.

We get censored news that is presented as honest, fair and free. It isn't.

For newspapers, I like the Guardian and foreign news sources. None of them are fully honest, but at least I get different points of view.

I think I heard that there are only about four to six major broadcasters of news today.

That's far too few for a country of our size.

The news media and the banks and huge companies like Walmart and a few others that are too dominant in their area need to be broken up so that we have a more vibrant, diverse economy and source of information.
