On another note, I just noticed in my emails that Siriux/XM satellite radio (which was allowed to become a monopoly a couple of years back when they merged), now has a new lineup change coming the following weekend. Not sure of all the changes they have planned, but they only have one real progressive channel and a "Plus" channel that shifts the times of some of the radio shows...

I seem to recall them having more at one point. They have some less partisan, but perhaps left leaning shows as follows:
https://www.siriusxm.com/potus (probably a bit more of a corporatist perspective though claimed to be "neutral" perspective on politics)
https://www.siriusxm.com/urbanview (African American talk radio. Joe Madison is pretty good and has been on Thom Hartmann's show frequently)
https://www.siriusxm.com/msnbc (They still show the Ed show on MSNBC radio? Will he stay on there?)
https://www.siriusxm.com/bbc
https://www.siriusxm.com/nprnow (show these NPR channels be pushed down to the right leaning?)
The right has quite a few stations to latch on to here now unfortunately. Why are righties labeled "patriots"? In my book they are anything but!

https://www.siriusxm.com/foxnewstalk (is Alan Colmes still considered "liberal"?)

Here's the note about the new lineup changes (though I'm having a hard time getting all of the specifics here). And JOY! Another Fox News channel coming as noted here!

If they get too slanted right, I might at some point think towards moving to a radio that grabs internet streams from WiFi and cell sources. Might be harder to get some of that on long distance drives through the countryside that satellite radio is good for. That's where you can get music streaming from Pandora or Slacker. TuneIn though is one that I think will have a lot of good progressive radio that you can't get over the air, on TV or through satellite. Check out more on them here:
