I don't believe that, but if he wins some early primaries, he could put the Party bosses in a box with such a threat.

This Trump thing seems a little different from the "leader of the week" routine we saw in 2007. That was a case of relatively unknown people like Herman Cain and Perry popping onto the scene. And it took the GOP voters about 10 days in each case to figure out each of those guys would be a huge mistake.

Trump is well knows. And more than that, Trump isn't scoring points with carefully crafted flowery rhetoric. He is attacking the system head on. The support he is getting is from people who feel they know him and they identify with his disdain for the system. I think it is a mistake for the GOP bosses to assume Trump will have his day in the sun, then quietly disappear.
